When Shulk vs Lightning inevitably gets revealed as the Next Time, I might make a prediction video or something. I mean, I own every XBC and FF13 game physically, just need the FF13 DLC... and also a PS3 lol. I just need to finish replaying the XBC games and doing some research.

As much as I want John to get an episode (vs Raidou), he's kinda a case where he has only ONE big MU, with the rest not being as good. Compared to Samus, Steve and MK who all have a few. (Chief & Firefly, Terraria & Emmet, Zero & Riku), making him the "easiest" to vote out imo.

Since my boy didn't make it to the second round, I'm gonna rep the goat. Even though I'd be fine with any character winning, I genuinely think Peter Parker is the most deserving character of a runback other than Michelangelo, but Mikey is not an option sadly.

I saw a reaction to Ruby vs Maka where he ends it with "man we take this for granted, but we get these fights for free!" Is not often I hear that, but is always great to see someone appreciate that aspect of the show.

The more I think of it, the more I'm thinking of suggesting Zeke Von Genbu. Honestly, even if I don't 100% adore every MU he has, all of them are at least really good. I would do Stocke or Shulk, but no one knows who Stocke is, and Shulk's vote would 100% = Lightning.

Zeke has a few options (Black Star, Ky Kiske, Ryuji Sakamoto, Yusuke Kitigawa) Jin has a few (Vader, Sephiroth), Mikey and Asta both 100% deserve reruns, as do Natsu and Peter. Rex on the other hand I DONT have a preference for, and think it would be fun to see what people pick

So going off of the champions island official explanation... I honestly don't know who I wanna submit. Asta, Michelangelo, Peter Parker, Rex (XBC), Natsu and Zeke (XBC) are who I'm deciding between lol. As much as I wanna do Stocke, only like, two people know who he is lol.

My hot take is that I would rather get Mario vs Kirby/another MU & Sonic vs Goku/another MU before we got a Mario vs Sonic 3. Don't get me wrong, I want Mario vs Sonic 3 to happen eventually, but I also think it would be best to give both series a bit of a break from each other.

Death in Bloom is such a good fucking track holy shit. Don't think it's above Spiral of Emotion or Super for me, but it's definitely close.

Okay final predictions for the rest of the year: I've heard that Torrian's episode is happening this year... So Shulk vs Lightning is more than likely the November episode. Which leaves Ash vs Yugi as the most likely episode to end off the first year of indie Death Battle.

So, Ruby vs Maka.... Holy shit it was peak. Gonna give it a few more rewatches, but on first watch it's a 10/10. The animation was amazing, and I just adore Scythe fights no matter the medium. This was a love letter to both series and it was stellar. RIP Monty Oum.

Also wait... ismahawk? I knew it was likely to happen before the year ended, but holy shit that's hype.

If it's a Halloween episode, then probably Freddy vs Pennywise (with Springtrap vs Junko as another option). But if it's not a Halloween episode for some reason, then Aang vs Traveler, Shulk vs Lightning or Ash vs Yugi.

The new champions island thing kinda confuses me lol. Maybe it's just the person I was talking with explaining it poorly, but I am super fucking confused. Lowkey I would have just preferred another tourney or poll, but it's still a cool experiment so I'll give it a chance.

Honestly there is only one RWBY matchup left that I'm actually interested in, now that Ruby vs Maka is close to releasing... Adam Taurus vs Ramattra goes hard as fuck and you get a choice of doing it as an army battle or as a 1v1 depending on how you wanna frame it.

RvsB for Ruby vs Maka.... Yeah, so Soul Eater is a series I love, whereas Ruby... Is a character I don't really like. For the bet, I'm bias as fuck, but I'm pretty sure Maka should scale higher in both strength and speed. At least I hope so lol. Record: 7-5.
