really miss being part of this kommunity . I am currently fighting to turn my terminal illness into “terminal chillness” every day I look to adapt. Unfortunately, a new lesion grew on the other side of my brain which has causedleft side paralysis.

Even though he had a hard 10 month battle he always kept his chill spirit! Zac will always be with us and we are thankful we have so many videos to look back on and listen to his voice. So thanks to his content he will never be gone completely 💙

This is Zac’s loved ones posting for him. Unfortunately this past weekend Zac passed away. I know he hadn’t been able to communicate with anyone over the past several months due to 90% blindness from the radiation treatments but his closest friends were all kept in the loop.

Zac is not in the clear yet but we have full confidence in his ability to recover and the surgical team. His brain has to reform and fill the gap left from surgery which takes time and his cognitive abilities, personality, etc will all come back gradually.

He is on anti seizure medication along with steroids, antibiotics, pain management, etc. He has good hours and bad days but his personality still shines through at times. He is light and sound sensitive keeping him off his phone, tablet, computer, etc. but he is getting better.

Unfortunately Zacs back is still broken as the risk of infection migrating to his spine and paralyzing him is too great to have surgery. They cannot fix his back until his teeth and head are 100% cleared of infection so he is on bed rest and needs mobility assistance every moment

The neurosurgery team are confident they removed all of the cancer from Zac’s brain and he has since been sent back home to recover with a scheduled follow up procedure to ensure the cancer has not regrown. He has over 20 staples, 11 screws, and a titanium plate in his head.

Zac woke up in the hospital as a team of doctors informed him that he would have to undergo emergency brain surgery. It was determined the mass in his brain was a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer in his frontal lobe. He was informed of the risks and underwent surgery.

An ambulance was called by his partner and he was rushed to the hospital. They ran emergency tests including MRIs, blood, urine, etc where they found an unknown mass and swelling in his brain that took up 1/3rd of the left hemisphere of his brain.

Zac had fallen from a standing position onto a 2ft tall TV stand landing directly on their back which caused a multitude of spine fractures. Zac was unaware their back was broken and attempted to lay down in bed where he sustained his 2nd seizure. His 3rd was on the shower floor.

A 🧵health update for friends of Zac Schubey aka @ZacsNotDead As you may already know Zac experienced 3 seizures within 24hrs of one another roughly 2 weeks ago. His first seizure which triggered directly after he stood up from his desk broke his back and shattered a few teeth.

Hello #MutantFam I am home. I had brain surgery in the left frontal lobe as the mass took up a 1/3rd of my left hemisphere of my brain. I broke my back in multiple places and broke my top row of teeth. I am going to keep fighting. I will not give up. I might not be the same man.
