... and helped bridge the gap between the restless 80s and the wide-eyed 90s. Featuring remixes of 808 State, Frankie, Seal more, it was - and is - a triumph.

One of the weirder moments of pop genius, even by our standards, came when @artofnoiseoffic teamed up with Max Headroom, for Paranoimia; a throbbing, squelching floor-filler that monologues its way through the paranoid insomnia of its main character. 🎧 https://t.co/Ezl9kfZ06W

Recorded for the 1995 picture Circle Of Friends, You're The One was a one-off. A darling duet from two of Ireland's most unique and celebrated voices; The Pogues' @ShaneMacGowan and @ClannadMusic's Moya Brennan, proof that sometimes solitary songs are among the most sublime.

Responsible for sleeves of Frankie Goes To Hollywood and Art Of Noise, as well as OMD, Wham! and more, we also entrusted Tom with designing the interior of our studios at Sarm Studios. We miss him.

Tom was a master. When he wasn't busy managing guiding the careers of Pet Shop Boys, Bros and East 17 (to name but a few), he was also creating the iconic ZTT aesthetic; ensuring we weren't just the best pop label around, but the most stylish.

On This Day in 1988 they released their final single, I Can't Escape From You, and, with it, their cover of The Smiths' Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now. Listen to both today at https://t.co/DSWAkLJHs2.

Regrettably short-lived, but spectacular and staggering, Act's psychedelic take on dramatic synth pop produced some startling moments of genius.
