Just finished loading KY-0032 POTA log and my HF ZF2AE/ZF8 log from Little Cayman. I managed close to 400 contacts from EK99wp. I am now on Grand Cayman. I will look at some POTA locations over the coming days. Happy July 4th to my US ops.

The POTA33 is up but the wind is giving it a work out. Tuning up ok on most bands. I'll try to get on after FD and lunch. 15m is smoking hot here in EK99wp. I'll probably try FT8/FT4. This will not be POTA activation today. TTUL 73 ZF2AE/ZF8

Planning next June 2024 dive and ham radio vacation including satellite operation IO-117. Never too early to plan.. Originally wanted to go to KH6 but now looking at other locations. Which location is needed the most?

ZF2AE is now QRT for 2023. I am sorry not working more JA's and EU stations due to IO-117 being off all week. That was out of my control. Tnx for all the QSOs! I need to do log cleaning, pse be patient over the coming weeks. CU AGN in 2 years. KH6 in 2024?? 73! Adrian

ZF2AE EK99hi IO-117

IO-117 at 1907Z on 7/07/23 is planned from EK99hi but TBD due to expected passing rain showers. Again my beach location is a no go, will look for a decent quiet location to operate from. May not get the low angle I was looking towards the west.

Going to try 1510Z IO-117 Pass on 7-07-23. I need to find a good spot in next 30 mn as my beach spot is a no go.

Sorry for my earlier rant. Thanks again for the many contacts on RS44 2100Z pass today. Great signals! I will post to LOTW once I get home to Chicago from ZF in a few days. .
