911 service has now been restored across the Yukon.

There is currently a 911 outage for landlines across the Yukon and NWT. If you need emergency services, try calling from a cell phone or visit your local RCMP detachment or health center. We will update when there is more information.

Shuttle update for evacuees: the shuttle will be running early tomorrow to start bringing people to the airport. Regular service will start at 8 a.m. and will end at 4 p.m.

The evacuation alert for the Sixtymile Road area south of the Top of the World Highway has been rescinded.

Information for evacuees: the shuttle bus is not running this afternoon (Aug 14). If you need a ride, contact Yellow Taxi at 668-4811 and identify yourself as an evacuee. Travel is permitted between hotels, the Canada Games Centre and laundry.

Mayo evacuees: For those driving, please keep your gas receipts and take a photo of the receipt as back up. If you require further gas support, please contact McGarry Selbee. If you require transportation back to Mayo, call or text McGarry Selbee at 867-383-2265.

Mayo evacuees: anybody needing transport back to Mayo, please meet at the Nàkwät'à Kų̀ Potlatch House at 4:30 p.m. today (Aug 13).
