Shin splint case. MRI showed increased vascularity in the anterior aspect of the right tibia, slightly distal to the center, consistent with the site of pain. Transarterial embolization was performed as shown in the attached image. 3 months later, the patient had fully recovered.

Upon our evaluation, it was determined that he had lateral epicondylitis of the humerus, medial epicondylitis, and posterior periostitis, all of which were addressed through catheterization. The patient made a full recovery after 1 month and was able to resume billiards.

In our clinic, problem blood vessels were found near the left femoral head, likely causing the pain. We performed a transcatheter embolization, and a month after the procedure, the patient wonderfully improved and could walk 20,000 steps a day.
