@YasirQadhi @PhDniX Thanks for sharing! I heard good things about this book. Also, Sh Shaker did not actually finish writing his book. It’s said that Dr. Abdulsabour Shahin incorporated parts of it, having read the draft, in his Tārīkh al-Quran (which made some people accuse him of plagiarism).

@YousefWahb Excellent! I am reading the Intro to al-Qurtubi’s tafsir. The fullest and sensible account on the ahruf is by al-Saraqusti: 7 diff examples. But is the Andalusi the first? Just read that Ibn Qutayba came up with a similar list.
