Yelena couldn’t hide her smile as she looked up at him. She felt like a kid in a candy store, until she nearly dropped the thing, only catching it just before it could hit the ground. “Oops.” She adjusted the shield again. “So cool. It doubles as a sled.”
Steve couldn’t help but smile at the clear excitement. “Not bad, not bad.” He made a point to correct the arm that was holding the shield a little, shooting her a grin at the same time.
