Off topic, but has Mr. Constitutional Lawyer even read the state constitution? Last we checked, he’s still sitting on those 9 bills he’s supposed to present to the Governor (see Article IV, Sect 33).🤷
With less than 30 minutes before budget deadline, Speaker Hall -- who frequently touts his credentials as a constitutional lawyer -- would not opine on whether the governor's plan to keep employees working without a budget is constitutional. "We'll see. We'll see what she does."

🥱 We are tired of waiting on Matt Hall and State House Republicans. The deadline for Michigan lawmakers to pass a budget is tonight at midnight. If there isn’t an agreement by October 1st, we will see a state government shutdown.
