If you were annoyed by a broken shortcut "command + 1" for Project view (which sometimes doesn’t work), I just accidentally discovered the exact same "command + 1" were assigned to sth else as well, removing the latter solves the issue. What a relief! #AndroidStudio.

I've been a unit test kind of a person for years. A test with a detached UI with an in-memory database and a mock web service in integration tests is the way for catching real problems and refactoring without permanent test modifications.

So I was curious about your opinion around it. It seems like you can put a property in a ViewState object even though it has no direct mapping onto a UI element. Is that correct?.

Hi @rharter , I just came across your article about "Encapsulating View State", really enjoy reading it. I was contemplating recently if it's okay to keep a non-UI related property in my ViewState or I'd rather introduce a new "feature State" to keep data I might need later on.
