There is a veenai type called Senjam which is exclusively for Thodi ragam. Hence the line.

Small correction over there... It's செஞ்சமெனும் வீணை.. தோடி ராகத்தை சோகமான ராகம் என வகைப்படுத்தியுள்ளனர். தோடி ராகத்தை செஞ்சம் வீணையில் வாசித்தால் சந்தோசமான ஒலி எழுப்பும். அதனால் தான் “செஞ்சம் எனும் வீணை பாடுமே தோடி” என வரி எழுதப்பட்டுள்ளது
