7S recently got sent the schematics to build and repair access points by command! Now he's just a pair of legs hanging out the side of a vending machine while he tries to get this old one in working order. There's a subtle echo from within as he hums a tune to himself happily.

"The elevator?... That's a weird target. Oh! How is she? Doing well, I guess?" 7S clicks the motor back into place with a satisfying *thunk* "Well, we have a whole bunch of detector arrays in orbit, we could probably locate the transmission's origin point from my outpost."
"Hey, 7S. I just got down to the surface for a quick survey mission. I met your Operator, or temporary one, 7O. It seems there was a hacking attack at the Bunker, someone put a virus onto one of the elevators."

The sudden sound of a connection request almost makes 7S drop the motor he was repairing. "Wah?- ah! Ehh- ahem- 7S here, I read you loud and clear, 9S. What's up?"
@YoRHaUnit7O Once he was on the surface, he'd contact fellow Scanner. "9S to 7S, do you copy?"

Perhaps she'll get a chance to corner him for a chat next time he's in the bunker. He is undoubtedly an interesting scanner...
That was something 21O also mentioned about and he KNOWS what to do about it. And she should put more faith into him if she wants to monitor his works more, even if not his Operator.

Unfortunately 7O can only reach the conclusions that the reports lead her to. They also happen to include numerous complaints from the maintenance teams regarding his record with flight units. More than any other unit, it's almost impressive if it wasn't so expensive.
Is she talking about the one when he and 2B had to destroy the Goliath units through Black Boxes? It had to be done. And it wasn't his fault that other units were shot down by the enemy, he did his best to take down AA machinery.

During the 243rd descent he was assigned to support the operation. It resulted in all units destroyed and a black box detonation. That meets the criteria of a messy situation stemming from his reconnaissance data. Not that it is necessarily entirely his fault.
Messy situations?! Either 21O did him dirty in that way or just the rumours, but surely he isn't THAT messy. And he's not dangerous, he is the Scanner, not Battler or anything.

She's not decided on him yet... But there are a suspicious number of messy situations that seem to follow him around. From the times she's seen him around in the bunker he doesn't appear to have a dangerous personality, but that's not a reliable source.
Investigate further? He's hoping that 21O didn't give him bad reputation, tho. But to make her check on him because of such indecent file...

His name comes up often in reports. As a diligent operator it only makes sense for her to investigate him further.
