imo, servers should wipe bps with EVERY map wipe, or at the very least, every force wipe.this would definitely not only slow progression, but level the playing field for those who haven’t played the server for a previous wipe.

even servers that do wipe bps, removing scrap from workbench cost still increases progression speed because now people are FORCED to get a bunch of bps on their way to a workbench.they basically get a workbench + a bunch of bps they would get anyway but now get for free.

this proposed change of removing scrap from workbench cost only speeds up progression massively because groups who play the same server every wipe will already have workbenches unlocked on the tech tree, meaning they don’t require any scrap for a wipe at all??.

i’m not sure why people don’t suggest the idea of forcing bp wipes when a map wipes as a solution to slowing down progression. generally the most populated severs are those that don’t wipe bps because people want it to be as easy as possible.
Workbench 2 & 3 are getting Scrap requirement removed when Crafting, however HQM cost will increase. #Rust.Workbench 2 still requires 695 to techtree on Level 1.Workbench 3 still requires 2071 to techtree on Level 2
