I transferred from a D1 that I was struggling to be successful at to an NAIA school where I won a National Championship and got a chance to play professionally. Even if I never threw another pitch again NAIA gave me an amazing experience. College Baseball = College Baseball
A lot of young HS players (& their parents) do not know what NAIA baseball is. They are 4-year schools & they offer a great opportunity for players. We saw several of them at Lake Myrtle today & witnessed about a dozen home runs & multiple arms 92+. Lots of big time players.

Brady Roberts will have some nice metrics. He will be 90+ off the bump and run a 6.5 but those won’t tell the story. His ability to work and prepare and perform and compete will be what separates him from a lot of others because he does those things at an elite level.

I just can't get past the fact that pitching in baseball, from MLB to little league, is breathakingly broken. The hunt for velocity has changed everything, and not for the better. The # of injuries is staggering, the decline of the SP throwing 7 innings is a HUGE problem.

Our upper half has to work in sync with our lower half. We are in too much of a rush to get rid of the ball at front foot contact. So our hands and shoulders don’t get in to position. We need to allow our upper half time to work to get in sync with our lower half.

How we start our action over the rubber affects how we finish our delivery. Strength and body control early helps complete what we want to accomplish at the end. Pair that with more control over the glove and lead foot and we give ourselves the best chance to succeed!

Our base is not working the way we would like. We need to create a solid base that will allow for the upper half to work properly. We start with weak legs that promote non explosive throws, and end giving ourselves more explosion but still a long way to go.
