To celebrate Black History Month, Year 4 took a look at the first black women in the United States to earn a PhD in natural sciences, Ruth Ella Moore! We learnt a lot about our teeth, how bacteria affects them and how to look after them🦷🪥 #class43

This afternoon, #class41 loved learning about Ruth Ella Moore for #BlackHistoryMonth! She studied the good and bad bacteria that affect our teeth! We used mirrors to look at our own teeth and made posters about keeping our smiles healthy! 😁🔬🦠@MonksdownPast

#class41 have been digital detectives! After exploring how to use branching databases, we created our own questions to make our own databases about robots! Great teamwork! 💻👏

This week our inner artists have experimented with colour. We were mixing primary colours together to create secondary colours. Then we added white and black to create different shades and tints! 🎨🧑🏼‍🎨 #class43
