US endgame isnt just about $BTC, its about controlling the very definition of "digital trust". They will either tank it to discredit it or reinforce it to tame it. With QC as the ultimate veto, the answer is the same:. Upgrade to PQC to prove sovereign, .or get left behind $USD.
Did you read The White House Digital Asset Report (and notice their concerns about quantum)?. 🔑 KEY POINT (The White House *gets it*): We need to adopt PQC BEFORE a cryptographically relevant quantum computer is developed.

Turns out hash-based (HBS) crypto matters against the quantum threat now. just when we thought TPS and meme cycles ruled everything. /s. $QRL has been using HBS since day one many years ago. It was built for the ultimate shitstorm in crypto.
Yesterday Ethereum turned 10. Today, lean Ethereum is unveiled as a vision—and personal mission—for the next 10 years. We stand at the dawn of a new era. Millions of TPS. Quantum adversaries. How does Ethereum marry extreme performance with uncompromising security and.

China says 🚫 to the Bitcoin chain,.U.S. speeds up in the crypto lane ⏩.One bans the block, one boosts the Bitclock. But tell me true, don’t miss the cue,.Who holds the biggest quantum breakthrough?.
China understands this timeline. The country that reaches useful quantum computing first doesn't just win a tech race—they hold the keys to everyone else's secrets. With the U.S. currently holding an "unequivocal lead" in quantum, the window for maintaining that advantage won't.

If I were a VC, I’d have wired the funds after page one. A five page masterpiece:.• Opens with a meme to build trust.• Middle: dense tech jargon to trigger FOMO.• Ends with a roadmap so bold it dares reality to keep up. Check it out yourself: .

@POTUS Travis here, (IBM fellow) worded way more clearly than I did BTW:.
While the publication of this report and its very pro American crypto stance is great, that the threat posted by quantum computing is framed more as an issue of "Technical Standards & Post-Quantum Cryptography" is a bit short-sighted IMO. Do the standards exist? Yes (thanks.

They can’t even follow their own recommendations yet. Boasting about NIST standards doesn’t magically translate to digital asset leadership. Says a lot about U.S. policy @POTUS. Usual words > actions. Still, hope for a shift they propagate. Full report:.

So, trump wants America to LEAD in digital assets. Yet U.S. residents can’t access $QRL without jumping through hoops. A postquantum chain using @NIST PQC, where U.S. contractor @LockheedMartin holds key patents. This ain’t leadership, @WhiteHouse.cc: @krakenfx @coinbase @Gemini

So after @kostascrypto and Co. dropped their backward compatible quantum upgrade path for EdDSA blockchain wallets I wonder at this point what would happen first next within next 5 years:.

Very noice! .This is a major step forward for the industry, BUT here’s the caveat with any opt-in PQC migration:. Any decentralized network is only as quantum-secure as its weakest or most neglected accounts. Opt-out keys become ticking time bombs in a post-Q day world.
🚨 BREAKING: Sui Research just dropped a major breakthrough in quantum transition of "some" blockchains. Unfortunately it works for Sui, Solana, Near, Cosmos and other EdDSA-based chains, but not for Bitcoin and Ethereum 😢. Here is the paper: *Afaik this

It only makes sense if there's urgency, perhaps you’re not the original owner & have no intention of preserving network value. Could be an early hybrid quantum or classical AI cryptanalysis. When the cost basis is near zero, a few hundred million in slippage seem irrelevant.
How on earth is it a good idea to dump 80,000 BTC on the spot market? Why not use an OTC deal or break it up into several smaller trades? The slippage alone cost over $200 million!

Interesting and probably accurate perspective. In that light, commercial roadmaps aren't a glimpse into the future, but rather echoes of past defense contracts finally making their way into the public domain.
@qdayclock As Boeing makes commercial and defense planes, IBM can have both commercial and defense quantum computing contracts with different timelines. Those classified roadmaps won't be public, they can only be roughly guessed. In general it would be bad practice for the USG not to.

There’s no perfect post-quantum patch for Bitcoin. Every PQC fork comes at a cost. So tell me:.Which one would you trust, is BTC still the hill?.Would that still be 🦋 BTC?. Meanwhile, I’m chilling with $QRL a proven quantum resistant chain, still dropping PQC blocks since 2018.
No perfect quantum-resistant algorithm exists yet. Each has flaws: overly long signatures, oversized public keys, or slow signature creation and verification times. Crystals seems ok, but we easily get 10x less tx per block. Here is an overview of the compromises.
