In the context of preparation for the Meeting of ICGLR Ministers of Gender in Kinshasa, I met on 31st October 2025 with H.E Micheline Ombae Kalama, Minister of Gender, Family and Children of DRC.

The ICGLR Audit Committee held its 27th October 2025 in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening responsible sourcing and promoting transparency in the regional mineral trade.

In the context of ICGLR cooperation with African institutions to promote peace and security in Africa, I participated in the 20th Conference of the Committee of Intelligence and Security Services of Africa CISSA held in Benghazi Libya from 24-27 August 2025.

On 7th June 2025, I participated in press conference on ICGLR participation in observing elections in Burndi

On 3rd June 2025, I participated in launching ICGLR election observation mission in Burndi.

The #ADF2025 provided a remarkable opportunity to meet with Ministers of Foreign Affairs from ICGLR Member States, strengthening regional cooperation and dialogue.

In the context of cooperation in enhancing effective diplomacy to address challenges of peace and security I participated in the 4th Edition of Antalya Diplomacy Forum from 11-13 April 2025.

Today I represented ICGLR in the African Union 38th Ordinary Summit held in Adiss Ababa , Ethiopia under the theme Justice for Africans and People of African Descent Through Reparations.

In the context of ICGLR efforts to address issues of peace and security in GLR, I participated in the African Union Peace and Security Council meeting held at the level of head of states and Governments in Addis Ababa on 14th February 2025.

I met on 5th Feb 2025 with Mr. Ivo Hoefkens the Head of Cooperation at the EU delegation in Burundi to discuss matters of EU support to ICGLR programs on peace and security, including initiative to mitigate illegal extraction of natural resources that fuels conflict in the GLR.

In the context of ICGLR efforts to consolidate cooperation in the Great Lakes region, I participated in the meeting of the ICGLR Regional Interministerial Committee (RIMC)held in Luanda - Angola on 24th November 2024

In the context of ICGLR efforts to consolidate peace and security in the Great Lakes region, ICGLR organized the meeting of Ministers of Defense in Luanda - Angola on 18th November 2024

H.E. Amb. Téte António, Minister of External Relations of Angola and Chair of RIMC undertook a working visit to the ICGLR Secretariat in Bujumbura on 2nd of November 2024, during the visit, the Minister discussed preparations for ICGLR statutory meetings.

On 31st October 2024, I participated in the 23rd Summit of COMESA held in Bujumbura Burundi.

In the context of ICGLR efforts in the area of peace and security I participated in a workshop on establishing an early warning and response system of ICGLR, held in Nairobi from 28-29 October 2024.

In the context of ICGLR efforts to address problems of displaced persons in the Great Lakes Region, I met on 10th September 2024 with the Chargé d’affaires of the embassy of China in Bujumbura and received support to a joint project on humanitarian support to IDPs in Burundi.

In the context of ICGLR efforts in the area of Refugees, I participated in a peer learning workshop on refugees and displaced persons. The workshop witnessed large participation from IGAD, EAC, UNHCR, EU, and ReDSS. The workshop was from 5-6 September in Kampala.

In the context of ICGLR efforts to enhance its mediation endeavors, I participated in a workshop on Validation of a Strategy of a Gender Responsive Mediation Mechanism organized in Nairobi from 29-30 August.
