What a great time we’re having at Robinwood! River team have showed great teamwork completing Nightline, brilliant resilience and enthusiasm on the zip line and canoeing and now we’re off to try our hand at archery.
Last week Year 5 composed a setting and character description based on the novel 'Cosmic' by Frank Cottrell-Boyce. There were lots of amazing examples across both classes - take a quick look for yourself!

And we‘re here! Year 6 have had a fantastic first day on their Northumberland residential. Today, we‘ve visited Alnwick Castle and learnt how to fly a broom, had a tour of the castle and made their own clay tiles.

Thank you to all the Nursery children who made a lovely tree decoration to hang on our school Christmas Tree in the main hall! We could tell that the children worked hard on their decorations at home and they were very proud to hang them on the branches! The tree looks fantastic!
One of our Year 3s ran the height of Roseberry Topping by going up and down his garden 100 times - what a fantastic and creative physical home challenge!! 🥇

Spring team have had a great first afternoon taking on the Nightline challenge, completing an escape room, archery and trapeze. Lots of fun and laughter from everyone and great teamwork too!

U for Universe day 💫 our children produced some gorgeous nebula art using chalk pastels. I wonder what super art you’ve been able to produce at home? 🌟
Nursery have been finding out how astronomers explore what is in space. They found out that they use telescopes to look at the moon and the planets. The children had fun looking through a real telescope and spotted birds, trees, houses and even saw that the moon was still out!
Red Team are off to a flying start in Carlton! They have taken on the High Challenge (they were ALL so brave!) and done some team-building which required them to be good communicators.

Stream group have had an amazing first day. We’ve completed trapeze, zip line, an escape room and area 51! Each and every one of them have pushed themselves out of their comfort zones and got stuck in to every activity with a smile on their faces.
