Our captain Piers has been to the RAF Marham Aviation Heritage Centre to collect this Yare Rowing Club blazer that belonged to a rower/pilot in the early 1930s called Flying Officer W J Jamieson. Once the front boat house is done hopefully we can display it there 😁

⚠️It's boating safety 101 yet our Rangers are still regularly seeing children without life jackets on the water. It's very unlikely that anyone will fall in, but if someone does, a correctly fitted life jacket can be the difference between life and death (1/2)

All rowers from YBC and Gothenburg rowing club learned so much and had a fun-packed couple of days. We also had one rower joining us from Rocky Mountain rowing club Colorado 😃

We had a fabulous rowing summer camp at UBC run by Charlotte Hollings and John Dunn from Calm Waters Rowing in Virginia. The days were packed! We had demos of technique, filming of rowers and analysis of technique from the videos and much more.
