Bo Bichette is simply Luis Arráez with better hair. I can't think of a worse scenario than the worst fielding shortstop in baseball moving over to the hardest position in the sport, 3B, and then throwing over to the worst defensive first baseman in baseball, Jorge Polanco.

Can we all agree that the New York Mets have one of the most fraudulent rosters in the National League? 1. Francisco Lindor: only one All-Star appearance with the Mets in 5 years, noodle arm, fielding metrics already deteriorating at age 32. 2. Juan Soto: WAR sank from 7.9 in

2026 New York Yankees' starting rotation: 1. Max Fried 2. Gerritt Cole 3. Carlos Rodon 4. Cam Schlitter 5. Luis Gil This has 1990's Atlanta Braves vibes to it.

I'd much rather give Framber Valdez the 💰 than Cody Bellinger if I'm the Yankees. Which is the Better Option?

Bob Nightengale continuously parrotting that the Philies were 'oVeRwHeLmInG fAvOrItEs tO sIGn bO bIChEtTe' is why baseball fans need to stop desperately listening to MLB 'insiders' all winter. These guys know about as much as you or I, and get paid to post ANYTHING.
The Phillies are the overwhelming favorites to sign infielder Bo Bichette while the Yankees and Mets will now be in a bidding war for outfielder Cody Bellinger.

David Stearns preaches 'run prevention' then signs Bo Bichette, already one of the game's worst infielders, to play THIRD base? Fred McGriff better be in Port St. Lucie all of February and March.
Here's one version of how the Mets' lineup could look with their current roster after the addition of Bo Bichette

Can we all agree the Toronto Blue Jays have one of the weakest lineups in the American League? 1. George Springer - Spring turns 37 this season. Let's not forget he hit posted a .220/.303/.371 line in 2024. He posted an even bigger fluke season in 2025 than Trent Grisham. 2.

Let's not forget the Toronto Blue Jays finished in dead place in 2024, brought back exact the same team and MASSIVELY overachieved in 2025, alla the '23 Diamondbacks. They won 94 games last season alongside the Yankees, but their run differential was just +77, compared to the
Even after losing out on Kyle Tucker, @Ken_Rosenthal doesn't anticipate the Blue Jays re-signing Bo Bichette. "I still believe, rather strongly, that he's going to end up with the Philadelphia Phillies."

As hilarious as it is to see the Mets and Blue Jays fail to land Kyle Tucker, it's a little disappointing that the Yankees couldn't match the 4 years/$240M for Tucker to finish out the prime years of Aaron Judge and Gerrit Cole. As bad as $60M per season is for Tucker, the 15

Cody Bellinger, we're good. Jasson Dominguez is here.
Per @JonHeyman, the Yankees are willing to add two opt-outs to Cody Bellinger's contract offer. The Yankees would also include "a big signing bonus" and no deferrals in the contract.

For all the flack Brian Cashman gets, David Stearns is truly having one of the worst winters in baseball history.

Kyle Tucker signing with the Dodgers couldn't have worked out more perfectly for the Yankees. Now the Mets can jump on the Cody Bellinger grenade, and the Yankees can take Bo Bichette off a really weak Blue Jays lineup coming off their Jeremy Lin/2023 Diamondbacks season.

With Kyle Tucker off the market, this is officially a bottom 5 lineup in the American League. Toronto Blue Jays, your Linsanity run is over.

Cal Raleigh finished with 60 home runs last season. If he hit just two more and finished with 62 to break Aaron Judge's 'record', I guarantee you Raleigh would have won MVP.
Genuinely insane how much baseball fans thought Aaron Judge wasn’t the MVP all along over Raleigh What Cal Raleigh did was special but Aaron Judge is also on another level

AKA we have Juan Soto, Francisco Lindor, Nolan McLean, and a bunch of JAGs.
David Stearns on the Mets roster: “We have elite talent at the top of our major league roster,” Stearns said. “We’ve got a very good farm system, and a very good present-day team as we sit here today — and it’s going to get better before Opening Day.”

I don't think people realize how washed up Sonny Gray is. Dude had a 95 ERA+ last season at age 35 with a 1.4 WAR in 180 innings. He's gonna be among the league leaders in earned runs and home runs allowed in 2026.
