No, you are arguing a scenario you think exists but is not reflected in the feedback, grading rubric, or assignment directions because you want it to be true. Again, we will learn more if OU allows this to go to a lawsuit, but I doubt they will

No, the opposite. I returned to school a few years ago to finish a degree I stopped and started often in my youth. These types of weekly response assignments were rampant, and used to prove 'class engagement' Some wanted citations, others wanted discussion. None really cared

That was not the assignment. It was to engage in a short response paper in a way that was more than a summary. The issue will be easier to see if discovery occurs and we see sampling of other papers that received credit. I hope we do so we can compare grading standards
@YahooNotSerious @danni1028 @MaileOnX If I was her, I would have used the many studies done to show the harmful impacts of stereotypes on our youth and framed it from her pov. You can find a study to confirm any bias. She wasn't limited, she just didn't think critically.

@Wilson84KS @DarrigoMelanie That is ridiculous. Capitalism is property rights and free enterprise. Poverty exists when something interrupts supply meeting demand. "Trickle Down Economics" was a myth, the theory is "Supply Side Economics", and like most theories it deals in tradeoffs not solutions.
