2. A national trainee led audit on Colorectal Cancer surveillance in patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (ColCas-IBD). We are grateful to several hospitals from various regions in the UK that are collaborating with us in this project.

This project consist of two threads: 1. A survey on CRC surveillance practices in IBD patients. We would be grateful if endoscopy/IBD leads in all UK NHS Trusts/Health Boards can complete this survey which can be found in the link above.

UPDATE - GLINT is launching a brand new study on endoscopic dilatation for benign oesophageal strictures - data collection will start end of Jan/early Feb’24, but sites are still being recruited so contact us to join as a UK site before we finish! #gastro #GITwitter #research.

The YaHGuT team had a great time at the BSG NIHR introduction to research event. A very insightful day with lots of take home messages especially on running a successful trainee research network. Collaborations are 🗝️ and important to have succession planning.
