❓Will this apply automatically to existing charts I have?. Currently, this feature only applies to official YARG setlists & DLC. But you can add it to custom charts! Check our documentation for details.

❓Can I disable indicators but keep notes?. Absolutely! Turn off "Range Shift Markers" in settings. All 5 frets will stay lit, ideal for transitioning from medium to hard.

❓Can I disable the new shifting? . Yes! Use the "No Range Shifts" modifier to stick to 3 (Easy) or 4 (Medium) frets for a classic experience. Indicators will be removed too.

❓Why were these added?. New fretboard indicators help players bridge the gap from medium to hard difficulties, especially with blue/orange notes, preventing "jumpscares" from random shifts.

Big news for novice guitar players!. Introducing RANGE SHIFTS ⏩⏩⏩. As of nightly build b2973, all YARG official setlist songs include cues to help players know when to move their hands, and only the required frets for a given section will be lit during that portion of the song
