I kinda want to work on another bust similar to the pachyrhino one I've been chipping away at(just a singular one this time around rather than variants of the same animal) . Haven't been able to decide on a subject tho, so I guess I'll ask y'all for suggestions!

And they absolutely would not have had the impact or feeling that they did had they been done using cg only. I honestly find this idea that one is better than the other to be stupid.

But the application of it can be. If you have a project like planet of the apes, sure, I don't think practical effect have anything to add nor would they be needed. But I think back on projects that feature practical effects and puppetry heavily-

Practical is cool. Cg is cool. A hybrid of both is cool. Use what works for whatever project you're doing. I don't understand this idea that any of these are superior than the other. They can work off of eachother or just not fit together at all. The art form isn't the issue-
Nostalgiaheads are cooking her, but she's right, at least when it comes to organic creatures 99% of the time You think the planet of the apes reboot trilogy would've looked this good if they were guys in suits/puppets?

I feel like the Jurassic Park films handled the portrayel of raptors really well. They're intelligence, presence, and design were unnerving. I cannot say that any JW film has captured that same feeling, their presence in rebirth especially was laughable

Just a little #scutosaurus sketch. It's a critter I've wanted to model for sometime now, I'll have to finish it up eventually #blender3d

Haven't made anymore adjustments to this animation since I last posted it, instead I've been looking into different effects and I'm a fan of this water color look. Gonna explore it some more

Twitter kinda messed this image up. There's some weird glitchy stuff in the original post(you can see it on the arms of the utahceratops in the center). Posting it again in the hopes this one looks normal
