Gilgamesh doesn't nurture belief by comforting it. He attacks it until it sharpens. With Tiné he stress tests faith. If it collapses it was never hers (fake). If it survives it's chosen belief (real). That's #strangefake Only beliefs that survive confrontation deserve to exist
These two scene touch on the core theme of #StrangeFake As funny as Gilgamesh in a casino is, as a real legend, he rejects blind faith, borrowed authority & fake systems, pushing Tiné to act from her own will. Showing that meaning can't be imitated, only lived. Same with Jester.

And with that, I've caught up. This final stretch of chapters have been peak. The art, character writing & thematic depth all coming together beautifully. Those back to back double page spreads were crazy. Now, I wait. Chapter 94: 10/10
It's stuff like this that makes me want more interactions with Gilgamesh & Ishtar. They have such an interesting dynamic despite what their past may lead you to believe

I didn't post anything from this chapter because it had me so engaged. I already knew about Ana's storyline from the game & anime, but this was my first read of the manga version. I didn't expect for it to hit me this hard. Chapter 93: 10/10
