Today marks my 17th anniversary as a #ROBLOXDev (2008-2025)! I sure have come a long way. From a total noob, to an Accelerator intern, Egg Hunt developer, summer camp counselor, Jazwares toy, research panelist, UGC creator, and now a middle school teacher. And I'm not done yet!

Wishing a very happy 13th birthday to.@MarsCuriosity! Prior to COVID, I worked at a planetarium's Mission Control simulators. Every brave little rover since Sojourner has greatly expanded our understanding of the Red Planet. Not all heroes wear capes; some have solar panels!

My friend and I just finished the #Destiny2 Edge of Fate campaign. Wow. Just WOW. This was some of Bungie's best writing, acting, and cinematics ever. But the level design and new gameplay mechanics were so frustrating. Hopefully, they shall learn from all this.

The propellers are a little stiff, but they do, in fact, spin! And they don't scrape against the drone's chassis. Not bad for my very first @tinkercad project! #3dprinted

One of the classes that I will be teaching next month is @tinkercad to 6th-8th graders. To practice, I modeled this simple #drone. I'll 3D print it later to see if the rotors spin properly (some of our assignments will involve moving parts).

My copy of @manticgames #Halo Flashpoint: Rise of the Banished arrived last night! Just in time for the monthly @ArchReactorSTL board game event, too! So many new characters, weapons, and mechanics to try out. We will be playtesting for the next several hours!

I bought an Anycubic Kobra S1 #3dprinter for my classroom. But it was making these grinding noises every time I tried calibrating it. Turns out, there are some small screws holding the build plate in place while it's shipping. I forgot to remove them. Now it works!

So we just got to THAT one cutscene in #Destiny2 Edge of Fate's campaign (yeah, we are a bit behind everyone else. ). I still won't spoil what we just witnessed, but. WOW. Bungie plot twists are really something special. Please keep this writing team for future expansions!

Anastasia Bray was always one of my favorite #Destiny2 characters. Now that I'm a teacher myself, this new lore somehow made me respect her even more.

#Destiny2 Edge of Fate took me nearly 8 hours to install, so I'm a bit behind everyone else in the campaign. I'm curious to see where this is going!

I won't spoil the #SupermanMovie    but I will say this: Bismuth crystals are awesome in real life, and I'm glad the special effects team used them as inspiration!

Just saw #Superman    and something weird happened. Right in the middle of Lex Luthor's rant, the theater screen turned off, but the audio was still going. About a minute later, everything came back on. That was the only moment the audience booed. Otherwise it's a great film!.

Today is Alpha and Omega's Gotcha Day! They were adopted from the farm in 2021 and are living their best life in the city! #cats

I remember Pepper (Tortie) from previous visits to the farm, but the Norwegian Forest Cat is new. For now, we're naming them Whisper (unknown gender, but likely related to Trixie). With 90° F temperatures this week, being a long-haired cat must be rough. #CatsOfTwitter

Spending #4thofJuly on the farm. There's a new tabby #kitten here who was VERY excited to meet me! I haven't come up with a name yet, but I'm considering Galena (our state mineral).
