If the Blue Jays are going to flip this series Shane Bieber has to be the tone-setter tonight. Itās simple: He needs to keep them from playing from behind. 1.52 ERA in 5 career starts at T-Mobile Park But⦠he has to find the swing-and-miss Last time out vs. Yankees: ā 5

Depends on how the front office defines success⦠and accountability. If weāre being honest with ourselves, the way this organization defined success has changed drastically over the years.
So, had some time to think about the year as a whole and would love to hear what ur opinion of success or failure for this Yankee team? (Ps thanks @Xavier_Scruggs)

6. So⦠what would YOU do? 1. Fire Boone? 2. Keep him? 3. Clean house? Let me know. Iāve got thoughts. And so do you. #Yankees #AaronBoone #MLBPostseason #BaseballTonight #PlayerToPlatform

My take is this: The Yankees arenāt compelled enough to think about a new direction. They may have changed their definition of success. Their plan will be to ārun it back and hopeā. And theyāll keep him, because heās not the only one holding the remote and pressing the buttons.

This isnāt just a Boone problem. The Yankees have bigger questions: Roster construction. Player development. Injury management. Organizational identity If those donāt change, firing Boone is just changing the window dressing.

But there are real arguments for moving on too. 1. The obvious, No World Series Titles 2. Questionable in-game decisions (especially in October). 3. āSame voiceā fatigue from fans. 4. And a sense that accountability has run out.

Secondly there are Reasons to keep Boone: -Heās battle-tested in NY. -The clubhouse hasnāt quit on him. -Heās made the postseason in 7 of 8 years. And letās be honest, the front office calls a LOT of the shots. You fire Boone⦠but keep the same system? Then what really

First off I think it depends on what the front office values more: ā¢Accountability? ā¢Continuity? ā¢Or just⦠optics? Booneās been in this pressure cooker for 8 seasons. And that counts for something.
