I used to walk into the dugout with a bat and glove. Now I walk in with an iPhone/iPad and it’s just as powerful. This is how I’m using Apple tech to teach, create, and communicate at the highest level ā¬‡ļø New Series 🚨 #PlayerToPlatform #AppleDugoutApp #StorytellingInSports

Covering the MLB postseason reminded me how fast life moves. Games, flights, family time go by all in a blur if I’m not intentional. So I wrote about it. ā€œHow I’m Spending My Timeā€ new on Substack. šŸ”— https://t.co/4Y9HzQElNc #TimeWellSpent #PlayerToPlatform

If the Blue Jays are going to flip this series Shane Bieber has to be the tone-setter tonight. It’s simple: He needs to keep them from playing from behind. 1.52 ERA in 5 career starts at T-Mobile Park But… he has to find the swing-and-miss Last time out vs. Yankees: — 5

Depends on how the front office defines success… and accountability. If we’re being honest with ourselves, the way this organization defined success has changed drastically over the years.

6. So… what would YOU do? 1. Fire Boone? 2. Keep him? 3. Clean house? Let me know. I’ve got thoughts. And so do you. #Yankees #AaronBoone #MLBPostseason #BaseballTonight #PlayerToPlatform

My take is this: The Yankees aren’t compelled enough to think about a new direction. They may have changed their definition of success. Their plan will be to ā€œrun it back and hopeā€. And they’ll keep him, because he’s not the only one holding the remote and pressing the buttons.

This isn’t just a Boone problem. The Yankees have bigger questions: Roster construction. Player development. Injury management. Organizational identity If those don’t change, firing Boone is just changing the window dressing.

But there are real arguments for moving on too. 1. The obvious, No World Series Titles 2. Questionable in-game decisions (especially in October). 3. ā€œSame voiceā€ fatigue from fans. 4. And a sense that accountability has run out.

Secondly there are Reasons to keep Boone: -He’s battle-tested in NY. -The clubhouse hasn’t quit on him. -He’s made the postseason in 7 of 8 years. And let’s be honest, the front office calls a LOT of the shots. You fire Boone… but keep the same system? Then what really

First off I think it depends on what the front office values more: •Accountability? •Continuity? •Or just… optics? Boone’s been in this pressure cooker for 8 seasons. And that counts for something.
