Through my meetings at 🇺🇳, I worked to build broad support for the recognition of both 🇵🇸Palestine and🇮🇱Israel. Recognition is not the end — but it is an essential step to support the Two-State Solution [4/5].

The Two-State Solution is the cornerstone of any lasting peace in the Middle East. The Palestinian Authority has taken important steps forward. Its clear commitments create an environment conducive to the recognition of the State of Palestine🇵🇸 [3/5]

The suffering of civilians in Gaza is unbearable. The humanitarian situation is dire & continuously worsening. There needs to be an immediate and lasting cease-fire. All hostages must be liberated. And Israel has to respect international humanitarian law and let aid in! [2/5]

The suffering of civilians in Gaza is unbearable: starvation, violence and destruction. The two-state solution has never been more at risk. Therefore I‘m heading to NY on Monday for a UN conference co-hosted by 🇫🇷🇸🇦: to stand up for peace, human dignity and the two state solution.

As the situation in Gaza continues to deteriorate, 🇱🇺 joined 25 other countries in sending a clear message: we need a ceasefire now, release all hostages and a full resumption of humanitarian aid.

Glad to welcome @volker_turk to Luxembourg. At a time when human rights are retreating globally, Luxembourg remains firmly committed to defending them and supporting the vital work of the UN Human Rights Office.

At today’s General Affairs Council, we launched discussions between Member States and the European Commission on the Multiannual Financial Framework - the EU’s budget plan for the post-2027 period 🇪🇺

Pleasure to welcome Armenia’s DPM Mher Grigoryan to Luxembourg and discuss our strong bilateral ties 🇱🇺🤝🇦🇲. Luxembourg remains committed to peace and stability in the South Caucasus.

On Israel-Palestine: Frank dialogue of @KajaKallas & @eu_eeas with Israel has led to 🇮🇱 engagements on humanitarian relief. Action must now happen on the ground, implementation and monitoring are crucial. The EU🇪🇺 must be ready to consider further measures.

📍Brussels for Foreign Affairs Council (Trade). Important discussions on EU-US trade, I underscored the importance of a strong, united EU response to the 🇺🇸 decision to impose 30% tariffs on EU goods. 🇱🇺 fully supports the 🇪🇺Commission on leading the way forward!

My pleasure to meet @CancillerAleHT, Foreign Affairs minister of El Salvador. We had good discussions on bilateral relations🇱🇺🇸🇻, especially development cooperation, and key international issues.
