In 2013, Mark Snow submitted this lovely note to our 20th anniversary roundup for the fans of #TheXFiles & it feels so poignant to read today. "My love for you will never die, even after I'm gone. I know I'll be hearing the magic whistling rising upward!"

We're absolutely heartbroken to share composer Mark Snow has died at age 78. Mark's soundtracks for The X-Files were a character themselves, shaping the mood and the heart of the series. He was a delight to know and will be truly missed.
