Gardening had a great start. We harvested raspberries, carrots and tomatoes. We all worked together and got our hands very muddy. We even had a cheeky taste of the raspberries. They were delicious.

F2 had an amazing time on the farm. The rain stopped and we were able to see and feed all the animals. We even had a go on the soft play area. It was so much fun!
Years 4,5 and 6 have had a brilliant afternoon learning all about electrical safety. Merry from the National Grid was entertaining and funny!

Year 4 have been learning about the importance of Financial Education by tracking spending and savings. We wrote receipts for selling stationery and calculated the total cost.

Year 3 have been learning about the Iron Age. We made some amazing hill forts, which we fortified when the Romans threatened us. Then today, the Romans burned them down! Tomorrow we go to battle!!
Year 4 did an amazing Diwali performance to parents and the rest of the school yesterday. We are now looking forward to all the Diwali celebrations at the weekend.
F2 having been getting into the swing of school life. We've been having fun in the creative area, learning how to use all the equipment and creating some amazing pieces of work.

In Year 2, we’ve been studying everyday materials and their properties. We conducted an experiment where we explored different materials and predicted which one would be best for protecting an egg.
Both our girls and boys football teams were excellent in the football festivals before Easter. We are so proud of you all! They demonstrated the spirit of the games values of passion, self belief and teamwork.

Reception children had an amazing time at Paradise Farm Park. We loved seeing all the animals, playing on the soft play and having a sneaky ice lollypop. We were all brave and fed the animals. We even came home with all our fingers 😂

Year 4 have been Time Travellers! They had an amazing time visiting Leicester Museum to learn all about the Ancient Egyptians and handle some priceless artefacts!

. We worked as a team to build some dens. We then made a delicious cup of hot chocolate and headed to our cosy dens with our torches to read our favourite stories.
We are super proud of both our girls and boys football teams. The boys came 5th and the girls 2nd in the semi-finals. The girls team also won the spirit of the games award. Go Wyvern!!!

Wyvern Eco Warriors have had their first meeting and they were all brilliant. Each member was able to introduce themselves and speck about why they want to be an ECO warrior. We can't wait to get going with our first action.

There has been a mystery intruder in Year 1 who has left a big mess and muddy footprints outside our classrooms! We have discovered it to be Whiffy Wilson and are learning about his journey on becoming nice and clean!
Yesterday, we had an educational visit to Wollaton Hall. The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves exploring the grounds with a nature walk, seeing different woodland animals, feeding ducks, exploring the amazing house/museum and having lunch outside picnic style.

Year 5 made Motte and Bailey castles for DT this week. It links to our History where we are looking at the Norman and the Saxons. Year 5 worked so well as a team!
