Running a full IRL WraithStation event made a bit of a change, but was lovely to finally be able to put some faces to names! Run it back next year?? 👀.

Not every event has the goal of getting in new creators, putting on a good show for viewers, being taken seriously, getting new opportunities, and growing. Some events are just fun things intended for banter between friends. But if your goal IS to be taken seriously. take note.

I lied. Pet peeve #4: super unprofessional Discords. Announcements channels that read like banter between friends, pings or announcements for silly irrelevant stuff. none of it makes you look like you take your event seriously.

Pet peeve #3: "we're a Minecraft event!".*no further explanation*. Maybe I should start going to restaurants and going "I'll take the food please" when asked for my order. 🙄 Is it minigames? A civ event? A parkour championship? Players want to know what they're getting into!.

Pet peeve #2: one-sided collab promotion. If you don't like your collab partner enough to bother acknowledging the collaboration event publicly, why collaborate in the first place? 🤔 You don't HAVE to accept collab offers if they're not right for you.

Pet peeve # 1: half-hearted and/or last minute announcements. A throwaway comment about "oh yeah this thing is happening in a few hours" reaaaaaally gives me confidence. Did you forget you were running an event or something? 🤨.

My outdoor electrical box seems to have a gap at the back of it, and from the weather forecast history, all my electrical problems have been when it's raining. What a strange coincidence! ✨ 🔍🤔.
The RCD keeps tripping once every couple weeks and turning off my freezer. Even when I was away at TwitchCon and there was barely anything electric on. I am stumped.
