All at WCC are saddened to hear of the passing of Gilbert Johnstone, a great servant to West Cumbrian sport. Above all else however, he was a genuinely good man, warm, kind & friendly. Our condolences and best wishes go out to his family at this difficult time💙.

Jack will arrive in England in time for our season opener in the ECB national cup competition against Padiham CC on 14th April. We look forward to meeting Jack and his partner and hope they are made welcome as part of the club and wider community. 💙🤍🏏.

Jack is a left handed top order batsman and left arm orthodox who hails from Tasmania, representing North Hobart Cricket Club. With a first grade top score of 119 not out, his batting ability is without question.
