To recap: There never was an emergency. Masks don't work. Mass testing was counter-productive. Asymptomatic people are healthy. The vaccine doesn't prevent catching covid.

Here's some helpful information for those who have damage to their home's meter equipment.

My tree debris (lots, including 6-inch diameter limbs) was just picked up. Nashville's not getting criticized for cleanup after the storm from me. YMMV.

Uh oh 👇👇
Yesterday, I read through NES’s 2025 board and committee records. A detail stands out: When NES reviewed its biggest operational risks, the executive listed as responsible for many of them had already retired 👻 And no replacement was in place. Here’s that report.👇 (1/6)

Ok still throttled so still need yall to help this info get out. Talked to several linemen over past 2 days under promise of total anonymity. Here’s what I found out: 1) They said it wasn’t necessarily that NES turned union crews away but more that the NES would not negotiate on

Nashville Mayor Freddie O'Connell Update In Generational Ice Storm If you are one of his 429 followers on bluesky, he will tell you how to find food, while hiding the flag of India (emblem removed) behind a young woman.

Another area where Nashville Mayor Freddie O'Connell could have made himself handy - using his bully pulpit to connect people with equipment problems with local electricians willing to not price gouge. I think we got some free food trucks and bouncy houses in Bridgestone Arena
After a major storm like this, it’s important to know where our role ends and yours begins. NES maintains and repairs the lines leading to your house, but homeowners are responsible for the equipment on the house. If your weatherhead, power mast or meter base are damaged, our

The NES CEO prior to Broyles-Alpin was from Deloitte, just like her. He was also the CFO prior to being CEO, just like her.

Not a boomer, but uncertainty limits someone's ability to retire or reduce work hours. Pump my bag and give me 10% guaranteed return for 25 years and I'm out and I'll introduce you to the hiring manager at work.
There are Boomers 60+ who are still working 9-5 jobs. They don't even need the money or anything they just "don't know what they'd do with their time."

Below is one of my conclusions after reviewing Metro Nashville's "Climate Resilience" website. There is also a screenshot of the Mayor's advice for what to do in winter weather:
As I figured, no mention of people being stuck in their houses for a week because of ice on the streets. If it's cold, get some gibs.

There has been much talk about the tree canopy in relation to the Nashville ice storm. We shouldn't lose sight of the fact that the tree canopy is good and that we should look for ways to keep it. Cutting back on multi-family housing in Nashville would go a long ways towards
Planting trees is good, but our current city leaders would like to cover Nashville with more multi-family residences, which are one of the largest drivers of our lost tree canopy.

There's been a serious lack of stories about how the Nashville Ice Storm is disproportionately affecting persons of color, illegals, the LGBTQ? community, and those who would like to free Palestine. What gives?

This ice storm outage map in Nashville is kinda crazy. The numbers are down, no doubt. Power is being restored slowly. Look how dispersed current outages are. It's just the map from a week ago, but lightened, picked through. I'm not saying anything nefarious is going on.
