Raise Twitter API rate limits if you want more usage and to encourage devs to build for Twitter. 300 requests/3 hours is pathetic for a high usage automated account. You should reward users who build successful apps for Twitter, not punish them with archaic limitations

Some very kind people have offered to donate to keep it running but here's my thoughts. There's no reason we should have to pay Twitter for building something that provides Twitter with more engagement, content, and advertising $$$.

Basically if your stats look off or if I don't respond, it's because I can't search through as many of your tweets because Twitter sets a very low limit to how many times I can search/tweet in a given time period. Twitter can fix this though by raising the limit.

Yeah I'm not paying $100 a month to keep my bots going. This is stupid as hell. You know he's lying bc 1. There already is a verification process and 2. ID verification would be more than enough to stop bad actors.

Yeah, free API is being abused badly right now by bot scammers & opinion manipulators. There’s no verification process or cost, so easy to spin up 100k bots to do bad things.
Just ~$100/month for API access with ID verification will clean things up greatly.

Sorry everyone! Twitter ended the API access for pretty much all independent devs
Looks like Twitter has finally turned it off. Even the $5000/month plan wouldn't support the usage this bot gets. So long everyone 🥲
