@WoodworkFarmer What if it's on it's own breaker? I've got a similar fuse box like above in my garage, with a 10 AMP breaker on the box on the house that feeds it. Similar with my front lamp post. I'm wondering why I need two fuse panels? Code, or just old stuff? I'm not doing this "fix" though…

@WoodworkFarmer They are short circuit detectors. Using the latest in active short circuit detection technology, these detectors actively search for shorts in the wiring. They will then emit a visible smoke and/or fire at the location of the short to help you locate it. Incredible!
