Why hasn't Mercedes made a Hypercar? Because their F1 car is their ground up prototype, a hypercar would be redundant. It's about the manufacturers philosophy and marketing strategy. Porsche wins at LeMans and didn't need F1, so they have a Gtp prototype. Audi no GTP cause of F1.
