That’s fair How does the data compare to the other months in the year? It doesn’t mean it was from a stumble, however that’s a disproportionate amount of interference vs inquiries resulting in a fine. Which would indicate that this beyond the control of jockey or horse

This is the type of insanity happening at @WoodbineTB 195 horses. This is not normal. Stumbling from the gate is almost always a footing problem. The biomechanics of a TB leaving the gate should make stumbling rare. Management needs to Fix it or step down

Another tragedy at @WoodbineTB. Many of these breakdowns are by the best of the best and most compassionate trainers. Their refusal to fix the surface is criminal. This is what will kill horse racing faster than Lawson Jr can finish a dozen donuts. It has to be their goal

Looks like NYRA is struggling with clown management too. Reading between the lines, I’m guessing the Clerks got a little greedy in their price per pound and there was a mutiny in the hen house. Either that, or the buy a pound program was only available to certain riders.

You can’t keep every horse forever. Be real. If a horse makes millions and you can’t geld him, find a trainer who does RRP, the royal, and say “here’s your entry fees, if anything catastrophic comes up or changes, call me” - then you don’t deserve these animals in your life.

Woodbine is trying their best. Unfortunately their best is this, it sucks.
@WoodbineHawkEye How ‘bout Geller calling a race and saying how embarrassing it is for the other horses because the winner won so easily ??!! Does he not realize that owners pay bills on those horses, and trainers might feel the repercussions of his terrible call. He can do better.

Sorry for the slow times last night. Now horses are running a mile the same speed as Timbo. I asked him what happened. His response. “I don’t get it. We added oil. This summer I oiled up a slip and slide in my backyard and never moved faster. We will try again next year I guess”
