I'm not a songwriter per se; I'm a sample-based producer so for me, Chordea is about shopping for pleasing progressions and harmonic compliments for existing compositions. I cracked the code on a half-dozen beats with this thing over a beer last night. Really valuable addition

Copped that Chordea for the iPad last night, and it's brilliant. Easy to set up a tone I liked, easy to figure out sans manual, and once I get it going (~5 seconds of setup) it's a massive soundboard of chords that suggests tonal compliments for whatever you're on.
