More tiles uncovered this afternoon. We need another good solid day at it and we’ll have all the old shop boarding down. Old floor coverings to rip up after that, then rip out on the first floor, then get a Skip.

Feels better have time to rip stuff out. Rest of shop boards need to come down next. Loving that we will have lots of nice tiles to make a feature of 😃

A tiny update just to tell you it looks like the really promising builder that could have given us our final complete quote looks like he’s just ****** us off, time wasted since February! I do ask all these people if it’s not for them to tell me now. Looking at a ‘Plan B’ now.

Love it that we are fostering a good relationship with our neighbours already. At least I have the satisfaction of giving them their own note back telling them it’s private parking. This is not how neighbouring businesses should be, have a bit of politeness please.

Still getting quotes btw, at some point I’ll have more than 1 construction quote. Who knew this was going to waste my time for over 9 months! Could have been cracking on and moving towards being open!
