Another good comparison for this: The NFL asking fans, before a game, to email Congress in support of a law that gives it an antitrust exemption so it can unilaterally limit player salaries and movement. Without the players’ knowledge. It’s that bad.

So this was interesting. During Big 12 pregame, the video board had an ad and a QR code that sends you to a website to send a message to your member of Congress supporting a federal NIL law. It's from the Coalition for the Future of College Athletics, the D1 lobbying org.

@WinterSportsLaw @38Godfrey Well-are the D1 players employees? Playing devil’s advocate here, but if the players like the NiL cash, they may want to try to unionize
