Your tax dollars are being wasted to a degree that is hard to comprehend. An aircraft carrier costs $13 billion. America could have bought a new navy to better defend the country, upgraded our highways or any one of a number of great things. Instead, we got fraud.
The Government Accountability Office estimates the federal government loses between $233 billion to $521 billion annually to fraud based on data from 2018 - 2022. That’s ~2% of America’s GDP stolen every year & a trillion dollars lost for those years🫠.
