Sadly former Deputy Chief Tim Berthiaume has passed away. Tim rose through the ranks from firefighter to Deputy Chief Windsor, Deputy Chief Calgary and finishing his career as Fire Chief Leamington. Please keep Tim and his family in your thoughts. *JL

Windsor Fire and Rescue attended and assisted 2 honoured Veterans at the 80th Anniversary of Dieppe Raid Red Beach Memorial service at Dieppe Gardens today.
Windsor Fire and Rescue remember all first responders that made the ultimate sacrifice on this day. Also remember the members who continue to lose their lives after 9/11.

Today, on Ontario Firefighters' Memorial Day, we commemorate those firefighters who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty, protecting lives and property of this province.
Fire last night 1500 block of Bruce in a semi, fire occurred in the livingroom 1st floor, cause undetermined, damage $50000. Resident rescued from 2nd floor sustained minor smoke inhalation, kudos to our dispatchers for assisting crews to locating the resident. *JL
