Oxygen saturation was 97 this morning at 3100 meters. Huaraz now almost feels like sea level.

Reached the summit of Yanapaccha yesterday. Now back in Huaraz for some rest and recovery and a much needed shower.

Stayed at the lake for an hour to enjoy the view and suck up thin air. Descent was windy and fast.

Made it to Churup lake at 4450 meters in 2 hours. Views are fantastic, lake is beautiful. Will post pictures later.

Getting ready for the hike to churup lake. We will start with a 1,5 hour ride, followed by a 3 hour climb.

Back in Huaraz for some rest and recovery. Tomorrow, we will go up higher to Churup lake at 4500 meters.

Reached the acclimatisation goal for today in about 1 hour. Pretty good time. Views of the cordillera blanca are amazing.
