AP Environmental Science & AP Bio students spent 5 days on Chincoteague Island for a hands-on coastal ecology field experience—wading through marshes, identifying birds, tracking tides, and building real research skills!

What a day it was for the discoverED 2025 design challenge!. After learning about animal migration, students from Shiloh Hills and more than 15,000 peers from school districts across PA built bridges out of marshmallows, toothpicks, and tape to help save the salamanders!
