Huge congratulations to Ava, S6, who after a week attending the University of Strathclyde’s Space School, has been rewarded with an all-expenses paid learning journey to Houston, Texas. This honour is extended to the 8 students across the UK who impress the most! #WWHSSTEM

Our new S3 Mod Langs classes have been working hard on research projects. After learning some appearance and personality vocab, 3C1 and 3D2 French pupils all chose a celebrity or character to describe in French and designed posters to show their research! #WWHSModLangs

On Sunday Rhona played as part of the Horn Quartet which played Schumann’s Konzertstück for Four Horns and Orchestra as part of a surprise concert for the Head of Juniors’ retirement, sharing the stage with the one and only Nicola Benedetti 🎻 .#WWHSMusic.@RCStweets

To revise some key vocab and brush up on conversation skills, Higher French pupils took part in a language carousel! They started off with Tarsias then played vocab pairs, French this or that and PPQ (ping pong questions) 🇫🇷 🏓 🧩 #WWHSModLangs
