Iran does not approach the scale of future threats. @HaydenLudwig97 lays out the scope of the China threat for @NewsRestoration. China is racing to be ready for conflict over Taiwan, with no bias towards wars of the past.

🚨 My latest in @FDRLST: Operation Midnight Hammer was a success—but future victories require decision space. We need a drone fleet that can win before the shooting starts. That means investing now, not scrambling later.

A gracious act of ecumenism from @AmReformer of which I am equally grateful and undeserving.
Has Donald Trump earned the benefit of the doubt? . @MESabo86 highlights @WilliamThibeau's examination of Operation Midnight Hammer in his latest for @AmReformer.

Admiral Donnelly is up for promotion again, this time to command 7th Fleet. Once the commanding officer of a ship that hosted military drag shows, if confirmed, Admiral Donnelly will be at the helm of one of the most important Navy commands. His support for drag shows was how.
This dude got his start doing drag shows on the USS Ronald Reagan in 2017. The commander of the Reagan in 17, Michael P. Donnelly, is up for promotion now. Thankfully, @SenTuberville is holding up his nom over the Pentagon funding abortions. This is a fight worth having.

The future of denuclearizing Iran looks like a negotiated settlement or significant escalation. The President understands the only realistic and feasible option is a deal. Loved talking it over with @docMJP and @Jill_Savage.
🔥The Mandate with @docMJP 🔥. 📍 @BreannaMorello breaks down DHS terror warnings, TSA’s social media spying, and what justice for FBI whistleblowers should look like. 📍 @WilliamThibeau gives us a battlefield briefing: Iran strikes US bases & Trump hits back. 📍 @CBedfordDC

Great discussion on @Timcast about the range of options for US involvement in Iran. I don’t think anyone wants America to use nuclear weapons in a first strike.
“Does anyone want America to nuke Iran?”. @RheaKarys and @WilliamThibeau discuss what threshold would have to be met to approve a nuclear strike in Iran.

This is an important consideration. Bunker busters are imperfect, so destroying enrichment facilities with air strikes would involve a host of aircraft and strikes to provide for appropriate redundancy. But that comes with a lot more supporting assets exposed to air defense.
NEW: Trump wants to strike Iran only if the US can destroy the Fordow enrichment facility with bunker bomb. The Pentagon/DTRA concluded earlier this year they don’t go deep enough, and totally destroying Fordow requires a tactical nuke. @guardian exclusive

Interventionists turn reasonable debate into a series of events that necessitate the next. Mission creep. First, it was enough to morally and defensively support Israel. Next, we needed to execute precision strikes. Now, we may as well finish the job with regime change.
GOP Sen. Thom Tillis on Iran: “It is time for regime change, and I believe that this president should be given a fair amount of leeway to affect that.”

The discussion of end state is important because it can clarify the implications of US involvement. If Israel expects regime change, then the US bombing Fordow only implicates us in a war meant for different ends that will continue anyways, and almost certainly escalate.
An escalatory spiral currently consumes the Middle East that risks direct US involvement. The end state is an Iran without a nuclear bomb, and deal is the only way to get there without immense bloodshed. Grateful to join @DanielLDavis1 on @JesseBWatters

There are already 40,000 American “boots on the ground” in the Middle East who become legitimate military targets the minute the US directly supports offensive Israeli military action against Iran.
The parade was great. Our military is incredible. And now @Israel needs our help to destroy Iran’s nuclear threat to the world. Israel’s military and air force have sufficiently degraded Iran’s defenses such that this is now the lowest-risk, highest-probability moment to take.
