The BMA regard a 28.9% pay rise as ‘crumbs’. They do not acknowledge the sacrifices made by taxpayers - or my responsibility to other NHS staff paid far less than doctors. They are trying to hold the NHS and our country to ransom and we can’t give in to this behaviour.
As we told you earlier, divisive tactics won’t work. All residents deserve the next step on the journey to FPR. Crumbs like this don’t cut it. Neither do recommendations for more below inflation pay awards next year. You have the power to avert these strikes. Act now.
