"If it is, it's probably not built right. If one coach in any sport can determine the outcome of it, he might not have a very good staff... And I don't have shit to say to anybody else," Golding stated on sending a possible message to Lane Kiffin. 3/3

"I think you want to build a program to where it's heading in the right direction, and one person, one player, is not going to derail that... There's been too much investment in that one person is not going to impact something so drastically," Golding added 2/3

"I don't have a message for anybody else. I think our team had a message. They had a message by how they prepared and how they play... I do think the message is, I'm replaceable, you're replaceable, our players are replaceable... Golding said 1/3

"Joe Cox (TE coach) is not here and George McDonald (WR coach) is not here... There's been constant communication. They have another job that is paying them, and they have a responsibility," Golding said of the coaches who will not coach tomorrow's game that went to LSU.

"I don't blame the players, I blame the adults. We created the system ... When you create a system that has as many holes as it does. Then shame on you if you're surprised by some of the results that come with it," Cristobal said on concerns about outgoing players in the program.

Continued: "This is about finishing out the 2025 season the right way, with whatever we have to do that... the culture's already been in place, the systems have been in place... it's about preparation at this point and getting your guys ready to go play." Golding added

"I think every year is pretty chaotic ... you're not looking for excuses and you're not thinking about everything else. You're looking for solutions," Golding said on navigating through the chaos

"When you hire good people and you recruit really good players, and there's vertical alignment to your athletic director and to your coach, I think it's only a matter of time," Golding said on the momentum Ole Miss carries into next season

"We progressed a bunch, and we still have a ways to go. We earned our way here, and we still have to earn every single play that the opportunity we have tomorrow night... we're not even close to where we need to be," Cristobal said on getting Miami to what it once was

"I say this completely with all due respect, it's not really a bowl game. It's a playoff game ... you're here for a purpose, and your intent and what you've done throughout the entire season leads you to this," Miami head coach Mario Cristobal said on preparing for Thursdays game
