๐น React Native Video v7 - Complete rewrite using Nitro Modules!. Similar API pattern to Nitro Image - you obtain a player object and pass it to the component. Performance is significantly improved, but no official docs yet. We had to dig through branch diffs to figure it out! ๐.

React Native Video v7 is built on Nitro Modules, focusing on performance and stability. It supports both the New and Old Architectures. It's important as React Native core team is freezing Old Architecture.

We recently delivered an Offline Video SDK for one of our clients. It lets users download video streams - including DRM-protected ones and play them back locally, without needing to stay online. Along the way, platform-level quirks turned out to be a key technical hurdle ๐
