Just as a reference here, KPI and NOVO played in Play-Ins 2024 together. 😶🌫️. One team has 1700 2024 points, the other has 153. So there is a 10x level disparity according to this rulebook despite both teams finishing second place in their respective leagues in 2024. 🥂.

Very hard situation to accept but sometimes the Esports gods are very cruel. As of today the choice we had to make was one that had to protect the organizations stability, and the health of the players. The current situation we were faced with after qualifiying for contenders.

@bowekpk Yes this was created so that only the new incoming teams could be relegated for the first two splits. Relegation all along was only between NOVO, Zeta and HGE, (KOI immune because) like look at HGE points even if they finish first. 💀 . There was a real scenario where by winning.

Split 2 finished in June of 2023. It's now April 2024. Cash prize? Boh. 🤷🏻♂️.Rimborso LAN? Boh. 🤷🏻♂️. Teams are constantly threatened with fines about pictures, post game interview requirements. etc etc but here we have a TO that hasn't honored the TPA for 10 months. .
@valleague_it What a great occasion to come back to Milan. Perfect way to save some money and good time for @PGEsportsIT to also hand over the prize pool from last year. 💸. It's 2024 and Tier 2 TOs are still not paying out LAN reimbursements and cash prizes from the previous season.

I have seen @lhfaria more on my feed today than in the last 2 years combined and to be completely honest I strongly disagree with many of the doomsday visions I've read through today. After the EMEA Ascension finals less than 2 weeks ago the man said that they are working on.
@Bo_Hoogland @gentlemates Updates for next season will start next month and go on throughout the offseason. I don’t have a specific date for all things tier 2 yet, but it’ll be sooner rather than later, we want to give people time to plan and prepare.

The easiest fix to ensure everyone has an even playing field for a competition with stakes this high is: LAN. Every other region has it, and for good reason, a problem like this was just a matter of time, and gives more reasons to tier 2 teams to not invest in the ecosystem.
